The College offers its students infrastructural facilities of the most modern kind. It has large, spacious and airy class rooms, laboratories with latest equipments, large Drawing Halls, Air-Conditioned Seminar Halls, Computer lab, Library etc., making the learning process more effective. Each room is capaciously large to seat students comfortable to do their academic and practical work. Its special feature is the well laid out landscape filled with sodium vapour lamp that enhances the charm of the campus.

Physical Science Laboratory

The twin laboratories - Physics and Chemistry are housed in two separate spacious halls with the latest modern equipments and furnished with economically designed worktables to suit the needs and convenience of the students. All the instruments and apparatuses meet the standard prescribed by the Anna University.

The worktables in the Chemistry laboratory are connected with concealed electric wiring, LP Gas and water pipe lines. The laboratory is sufficiently ventilated and has adequate safety measures against risks. Similarly, the physics laboratory is provided with special and highly sophisticated state - of-the art equipment and apparatus. The best and costliest make of equipments are carefully selected in order to get better and accurate results in the experiments. A photography section is attached to this laboratory for practical learning of Photography.

Workshop



The workshop is located in two separate halls equipped with the latest modern equipment. It has large - sized worktables and ample number of tools. It consists of carpentry section, fitting section, welding section, smithy section, foundry section and sheet metal section required for the conduct of practical training in the first year. The workshop besides being used for basic workshop practice also helps students understand basic mechanical engineering.

Mechanical Lab

Mechanical Engineering branch is being offered from this academic year. A huge mechanical lab is available with adequate number of lathe machine, milling machines, shaping machines, slotting machines, drilling machines, turret, capstan lathe etc.,

Computer Science & Engineering

The department of Computer science and Engineering provides a sound knowledge of fundamentals and a strong exposure to the latest technology to the students to meet the challenges in the Computer industry. As such the Computer Laboratory is scientifically designed in such a way that students can spend hours together at the terminals without fatigue and with total independence. The special feature of the laboratory is that it is centrally air-conditioned with comfortable cushioned revolving chairs and convenient tables to facilitate better and efficient working. The hall accomodates 120 students at a time each with one Pentium Processor 850 which is kept open round the clock. Internet facilities are also available. A 50, KVA standby generator is available to ensure nonstop power supply. The Department, has the following laboratories

Computer Center

The College has a well - established Computer centre with the latest in Computer hardware, software, and state - of - the art networking. It is open to all and provides access to all students and staff irrespective of the branch of study. It enables the students to acquire a sound foundation of theoretical concepts, in-depth working knowledge and a rich experience in Computer hardware and software. About 100 P IV IBM machines are available at this centre which is kept open round the clock Internet facilities are also available.

Information Technology has progressed extremely fast in recent years. It has become a part and parcel of human life. Electrical & Electronics Engineering

The Department possesses three well equipped laboratories. They are well structured with special machines and equipments with all protective provisions and help students keep abreast with current developments in Electrical Engineering.
The Electrical Laboratory includes

• Power Electronics lab imparting practical knowledge of electricity.

The laboratory is fitted with ali types of AC, DC machines, transformers, induction motors and rectifiers. All types of measuring instruments and substandard meters for calibration are also available. Each machine is provided with neatly engraved panel board.

Hostel facilities

The institution provides excellent, well - furnished and comfortable hostel accommodation separately for outstation boys and girls. Delicious, nutritious and well - balanced food is served in the mess. A homely environment is provided with common sit-outs for indoor games, watching T.V, reading magazines newspaper etc. The special feature of the hostels is the protected aqua-guard drinking water, hot waiter for bath, hygienic bathrooms and generator supply as a stand by for electricity. Students would also utilize HCL systems and drawings boards
Deputy wardens separately for each hostel take care of maintenance of discipline, academic Interests e.t.c in the hostel. Thus the hostels provide a home away from home for the students and help them in developing into full-fledged future engineers.
