Applications are advised to adhere to the following instructions while filling up the application form.

A) Marks:

The minimum marks prescribed in the HSC/equivalent examinations as per government norms. A pass with 60% average marks in relevant subjects for OC; 55% for BC; 50% for MBC/DNC and mere pass for SC/ST. The same for Diploma holders.

B) Lateral Entry:

A limited seats are available for those who have passed the Diploma for direct admission to the second year of B.E Degree course in their respective branches in which they pursued their Diploma. Eligibility of marks in the same as above in V and VI semesters.

Application forms are available at the College Office on payment of Rs.200 in cash or crossed DD in favour of of ARASU ENGINEERING COLLEGE, KUMBAKONAM. Those who wish to get the application form by post should send a requisition letter indicating clearly the postal address along with a DD for Rs.225/-.

Candidates who fulfill the following conditions in respect of marks in qualifying examination, number of appearances, age limit etc., are eligible to apply for admission to the above courses.

A) Application form should be filled only in English.

B) Candidates should satisfy themselves in respect of eligibility before registering the application.

C) Every application should be accompanied with required documents. Only attested copies of the following should attached with the application form.

Originals Need Not Be Sent. However, the original certificates should be submitted to the college at the time of admission.

In addition to the documents mentioned earlier, candidates from outside TamilNadu should attach an Eligibility Certificate obtained from Anna University, Trichy of selected, they should apply to the above University for registration in the prescribed form within 15 days from the date of their admission.

NRI Admission: Certain numbers of seats in each branch are available for NRI students under certain conditions. For further details contact College Office.Last date for submission of filled up application to the college office is 10 days from the date of publication of +2 results.
